Shade's Biography

Welcome - I am Shade woman of mother earth bonded to horses, nature, and the creation of all things that generate positive effect and energy. Set on a course of spiritual learning as an Elder Priestess, a member of Orange Coast CUUPS and my own spiritual path of solitary study and teaching.

I want to clarify that I am a Pagan - I do not proclaim being a witch or wiccan as I no longer practice either in a coven or as a solitary.  Because of the knowledge I have received in the use of intent and positive focused energy casting spells and formal rituals are longer part of my spirituality. Prayer and the Sacred Circle are a blessing not a necessity, I am as comfortable in circle, a forest, or the desert as a church with my Christian friends.

I call myself a pagan because I follow aspects of many religions and spirituality including by not limited to Paganism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity to name a few. I believe the Divine Spirit in undefinable that we as humans label it to try to understand it. I myself need the masculine and feminine so I see the God and Goddess in my spiritual path.

My pantheon is Gaelic - Celtic, I have been blessed by the Lady Epona and the Lord Lugh...

She is the Great Goddess Mother - Mistress of Horses, Guardian of the stable, Horsemen and women, Keeper of the keys to the Underworld. She has blessed me with the ability to communicate with horses. I owe my life and honor to this gift.

He is the God of Light and the Harvest, the Shining One, Guardian Warrior,  the Master Craftsman standing for all things created by the hand and tool. He is the Warrior King - the long arm for his spear and sling. He has blessed me with Artistry, Courage and leadership qualities. I owe my peace of mind and truth of self to these gifts.

It is now my duty through these gifts to honor my Gods, my loved ones and to show those who may not follow the same spiritual path that we as pagans are not a negative force but a positive one striving to bring all people together.

I show reverence to the Lord and Lady, life and work through 3 things:

Truth: within Myself, to my Gods, the elements and all Living things.

Honor: where in lies respect for Myself, my Gods, the elements, the turning of the wheel and all Living things.

Self-Responsibility: If I as a pagan, chosen child Epona and Lugh and as a mundane person remember that in all things I had or have CHOICE and that choice is/was mine alone then only I can revel or despair in what I do, have done, or will do. Blessed Be!
